Family

Dr. Juliet Vento was born in Pinar del Rio, Cuba in 1984. She moved to the US in 2001 where she promptly started her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering at Florida International University (Miami, FL).  During her undergraduate degree, she focused in understanding the physiology of the human body as the basis of any biomedical device development. This knowledge proved invaluable as she continued her career in medicine. Upon completing her undergraduate degree in 2007, she went on to work at Mayo Clinic (Rochester, MN) as a research associate evaluating skeletal muscle insulin resistance in animals. The following year, in 2008, she started medical school at the University of Illinois at Chicago (Chicago, IL).

During her medical school, Dr. Vento focused in gaining a deeper understanding of human anatomy and pathophysiology. She also performed research in Vitamin D deficiency. She graduated medical school from the University of Illinois (Chicago, IL) in 2013. Soon thereafter, she started her Internal Medicine residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center (Miami Beach, FL). She completed her training in 2016 and got board certified that same year.

Since finishing her residency, she has been focused in primary care. At first, she worked for Baptist Health Medical Group (Miami, FL and Plantation, FL) until she decided to open her own practice in 2021. To this day, she continues to specialize in primary care and has added aesthetic procedures to her practice. Dr. Vento is committed to the wellbeing of her patients and prides herself in providing a comprehensive approach to health.

Juliet Vento resides in Miami with her husband and 2 children. She loves outdoor activities and spending time with her family.
